Description

The project was developed by Mitsubishi. The project is co-owned by Chugoku Mokuzai and Mitsubishi, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Wood chips which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project consists of 1 turbine with 21MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project got commissioned in July 2008.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tokyo Electric Power Co Holdings under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors involved

Ebara Environmental Plant supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 106TPH.The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 460°C.
