Description

The project was developed by EDF Renewables (South Africa). Others and Electricite de France are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 52% and 48% respectively.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 20 units of V112-3.0 MW turbines, each with 3.075MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2016, for a period of 10 years.
