Guajiro 2 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 410 hectares.
The project generates 300,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 120,000 households, offsetting 215,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in May 2019.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 101.4MW.
