Description

The project is being developed by Yangjiang Mingyang Offshore Wind Power Development and is currently owned by China Ming Yang Wind Power Group with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 800,000MWh of electricity. The project will be spread over an area of 48km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations and will be interconnected by 35kV inter-array cable.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Guangdong Yangjiang Yangxi Mingyang Yangjiang Shapa Wind Farm (Guangdong Yangjiang Yangxi Mingyang Yangjiang Shapa Wind Farm Phase I) will be equipped with China Ming Yang Wind Power Group MySE6.45-180 turbines. The phase consists of 44 turbines with 6.45MW nameplate capacity.

Guangdong Yangjiang Yangxi Mingyang Yangjiang Shapa Wind Farm (Guangdong Yangjiang Yangxi Mingyang Yangjiang Shapa Wind Farm Phase II) will be equipped with China Ming Yang Wind Power Group turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines, each with 8.3MW nameplate capacity.
