Georgia Power, Oglethorpe Power, Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia and Dalton Utilities are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 53.5%, 30%, 15.1% and 1.4% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.
The project generated 4,743,778MWh of electricity.
