Description
The project was developed by Hassyan Energy Phase 1 PSC. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Acwa Power, Harbin Electric International and Silk Road Fund are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 26.95%, 14.7% and 7.35% respectively.

The project construction commenced in 2016 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2020.

The power generated from the project is sold to Dubai Electricity and Water Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
