Description
The project was developed by OX2. AB Botkyrkabyggen, Armada Kommunfastigheter, Dala Vindkraft Ekonomisk forening, EnBW Sverige, Hedbodberget Vind, Mora Kommun, O2 El Ekonomisk Forening, Rattvik Kommun and Rattviks Fastigheter are currently owning the project.
The project generates 83,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,000 households, offsetting 68,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Hedbodberget (Hedbodberget IA), has 80m high towers.
Development status
The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in February 2009.
Contractors involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 15 units of V90-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
