Description

The project is being developed by CLP Power Hong Kong and HK Offshore Wind. The project is currently owned by CLP Power Hong Kong with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 140,000 households, to offset 220,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project will be spread over an area of 15km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed suction caisson foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.

The wind power project consists of 17 turbines.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2028.
