Description
The project was developed by China Power Hub Generation and is currently owned by China Power International Development with a stake of 74%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is lignite / sub bituminous. In case of shortage of lignite / sub bituminous the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil / High Speed Diesel.
The project generated 9,000,000MWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,912.2m.

Northwest Electric Power Design Institute and Tianjin Electric Power Construction were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the coal fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Coal fired project. The company provided 2 steam turbines, each with 660MW nameplate capacity.
