The project was developed by China Power Hub Generation. China Power International Holding and The Hub Power are currently owning the project.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is lignite / sub bituminous. In case of shortage of lignite / sub bituminous the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil / High Speed Diesel.
