Enel Americas and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 83.6% and 16.4% respectively.

Huinco is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 0.8 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 1,293m and 1,245m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 1 in number. The penstock length is 1,400m. The penstock diameter is 2.2m. Huinco underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2015, 2018. The project generated 866 GWh of electricity.
