Description

The project was developed by Constellation Energy Resources and DCO Energy. The project is currently owned by LA Sanitation.

The project generates 173GWh electricity thereby offsetting 100,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of anaerobic digestion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Waste water is used as a feedstock to power the project.
