Description

The project is developed and owned by Hyundai Green Power.

It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is blast furnace gas. In case of shortage of blast furnace gas the plant can also run on Coke Oven Gas.

The project cost is $296.496m.

The project got commissioned in January 2011.

Contractors involved

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of SST-900 steam turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens supplied SGen 6-100A-2P electric generator for the project.
