Description

The project is being developed by Asunaro Aoki Construction and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions. The project is currently owned by FS Japan Project B4 with a stake of 100%.

Ikeda Solar Power Plant is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 37.2 hectares.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to TEPCO Power Grid under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar will be the supplier of PV modules for the solar power project.
