Description
The project was developed by Able Energy. Kanden Energy Solution, Able and Kyudenko are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 45% and 5% respectively.
The project generates 770GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 250,000 households, offsetting 787,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood pellets which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development status
The project got commissioned in April 2022.
Contractors involved
Sumitomo Heavy Industries supplied steam boiler for the project.
