Description

The project was developed by PT Shenhua Guohua Power Jawa Bali. China Shenhua Energy and PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant.

The project cost is $1,800m.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2016 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.043kWh for a period of 25 years.

Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the coal fired power project.

China Shenhua Energy and PT Pembangkitan Jawa-Bali were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
