The project is developed and owned by Sachal Energy Development (Pvt).
The project generates 136,500MWh electricity thereby offsetting 84,804t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $134m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Electric Power Regulatory Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

HydroChina International Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Xinjiang Goldwind Science & Technology was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of GW 1.5/77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
HydroChina International Engineering is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
