Description
Hanergy Holding Group, Jinsha River Hydropower Development and Yunnan Development and Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80%, 12% and 8% respectively.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 913 million cubic meter. The project generated 11,043 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $1,771.3m.

The project construction commenced in 2003 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2011.

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 600MW nameplate capacity.
