Description

The project was developed by Datang Yunnan Lixianjiang Hydropower Development. Datang International Power Generation, Beijing Guodian Anrong Energy Investment and Yunnan Pu'er State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70%, 25% and 5% respectively.

Jufudu is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 174 million cubic meter. The project generated 1,314 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 80MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2004 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2008.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.
