Description

Electricity Generating Public, J-POWER Holdings (Thailand) and Mit-Power (Thailand) are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 49% and 1% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

The project cost is $1,097.85m.

Development status

The project got commissioned in May 2007.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
