Description
The project is currently owned by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant will run on Fuel Oil/High Speed Diesel Oil.
Kalisindh Super Thermal Power Project (Kalisindh Super Thermal Power Project Expansion) consists of 1 turbine with 800MW nameplate capacity.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in May 2014.
