Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by TNB Power Generation Sdn and Widad Business Group Sdn. The company's ownership stake in the project stands as 60% and 40% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2030. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2031.
