Description

The project was developed by BayWa r.e. Projects Australia, Island Green Power UK and Overland Sun Farming. The project is currently owned by Atmos Renewables with a stake of 100%.

Karadoc Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 664 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 47,000 households, offsetting 188,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2018.

Power purchase agreement

CUB and Flow Power are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved

Energy Solutions was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

GCL Technology Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 346,260 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 38 of its Sunny Central 2750-EV inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.

BayWa r.e. Projects Australia is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2018, for a period of 10 years.
