Description

The project is being developed by Sri Maruti Wind Park Developers and is currently owned by NSL Renewable Power with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 86,724MWh electricity to offset 84,555t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The power generated from the project will be sold to Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2014.

Contractors involved

Regen Powertech will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 33 units of VENSYS 87 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

Regen Powertech is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project. The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2014.
