Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Climate Investor One and UPC Renewables. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

The project is expected to generate 112,000MWh electricity to offset 56,645t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $40m.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Societe Tunisienne de l'Electricite et du Gaz under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
