Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Khanapur Wind Farm - Orange (Khanapur Wind Farm Phase IA) will be sold to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.077kWh for a period of 13 years, starting from 2015. The capacity to be procured is 24MW.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 50 units of G97-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
