Description

The project is being developed by Kingline Ondo IPP and Themis Energy. Kingline Ondo IPP, Denham Capital Management and Themis Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.

It is a Gas Turbine power plant.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Hyundai Engineering and POSCO Engineering & Construction are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power will be the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project.

Korea Southern Power is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project.
