Description

Kochi Muroto Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 490,000 square meters.

The project generates 36.11MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,144 households, offsetting 18,056t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The power generated from the project is sold to Shikoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement, starting from 2019.

Tess Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Kyocera was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 108,000 modules each with 280W of nameplate capacity.

The inverters were procured from Huawei Technologies for the project.

Tess Engineering is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2019.
