The project was developed by Korkeakangas Wind and Peas Industries. The project is currently owned by Aquila Capital Concepts with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 140,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 28,000 households, offsetting 56,473t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

OX2 and Peas Industries were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 9 units of N149/4.0-4.5 turbines, each with 4.8MW nameplate capacity.
