Description

The project was developed by Bharat Heavy Electricals and is currently owned by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is bituminous. In case of shortage of bituminous the plant can also run on Furnace Oil / High Speed Diesel. The fuel is procured from SECL (Korea-Rewa & Korba) & NCL (Singrauli).
