Description

The project was developed by Electrawinds K-Wind d.o.o. The project is co-owned by Enlight Renewable Energy and Others, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 298,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 65,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 110m high.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Electric Power Industry of Serbia under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.108kWh for a period of 8 years.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 38 units of GE 2.75-120 turbines, each with 2.75MW nameplate capacity.

GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2019, for a period of 15 years.
