Description

The project was developed by Acciona Energy North America and Cielo Wind Power. The project is currently owned by Acciona Energy North America with a stake of 100%.

The project generates 650GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 62,500 households, offsetting 420,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 90m high.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to ERCOT Wholesale Market under a power purchase agreement from 2020. The contracted capacity is 198.45MW.

Contractors involved

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 63 units of AW-125/3000 turbines, each with 3.15MW nameplate capacity.
