The project was developed by Global EcoPower and is currently owned by Leonidas Associates.
The project generates 54,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 21,000 households, offsetting 14,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 24 units of V90-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
