Description

The project was developed by Soleia 39. JP Energie Environnement and Banque des Territoires are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Labarde Centre Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 60 hectares.

The project generates 75,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 2,940t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in October 2021.

Contractors involved

First Solar was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 135,000 modules at the site.
