Description

The project was developed by BayWa r e Renewable Energy.

The project generates 116.5GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 44,000 households.

The turbines installed on the Lacedonia - BayWa (Lacedonia - BayWa Phase I), are using Tubular Steel towers.

The Lacedonia - BayWa (Lacedonia - BayWa Phase II), has 137m high towers.

BayWa r e Renewable Energy and Vestas Wind Systems were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Lacedonia - BayWa (Lacedonia - BayWa Phase I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V110-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Lacedonia - BayWa (Lacedonia - BayWa Phase II) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V126-3.3 MW - IEC IIIA turbines. The phase consists of 9 turbines with 3.3MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2015, for a period of 10 years.
