Description
The project is being developed by Mentach Energy and is currently owned by Access Power with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 153,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 250,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $80m.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2018. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Nigerian Bulk Electricity Trading under a power purchase agreement.
