Description
The project is being developed by Lahore Xingzhong Renewable Energy and Satarem Enterprises. Chengdu Xingrong Environment and China Enfi Engineering are currently owning the project.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2026. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2027.
