Description
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Bagasse which is a kind of agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 2 turbines each with 3 MW nameplate capacity, 1 turbines each with 12.5 MW nameplate capacity and 1 turbines each with 15 MW nameplate capacity respectively.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Vietnam Electricity under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.058kWh. The contracted capacity is 18.8MW.
