Lancaster University Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 53 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 3,000 households, to offset 2,600t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $14.582m.
The solar power project consists of 36,000 modules.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.
