Description

The project was developed by First Solar and juwi Solar. The project is currently owned by UniCredit Bank.

Lieberose Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 162 hectares.

The project generates 53,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 15,000 households, offsetting 35,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $238m.

First Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 700,000 modules at the site.
