Description

The project is being developed by Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments and is currently owned by Lightsource Renewable Energy Australia with a stake of 100%.

Lightsource BP NSW Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 280 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 235,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 37,600 households. The project is expected to offset 200,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $92.9m.

The solar power project consists of 296,000 modules.

15 inverters are likely to get installed at the project site.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power purchase agreement
