Lingbao Biomass Cogeneration Power Plant is a 35MW biopower project. It is planned in Henan, China. According to GlobalData, who tracks and profiles over 170,000 power plants worldwide, the project is currently at the permitting stage. It will be developed in a single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2025 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2026. Buy the profile here.
The project is being developed by EDF Lingbao Heat and Power. Electricite de France and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65% and 35% respectively.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, to offset 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
DP CleanTech China is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site is expected to have a capacity of 130TPH.
