Description

The project was developed by EDF Renewables. Duke Energy Renewables and Manulife Financial are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 67% and 33% respectively.

Longboat Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 233.47 acres.

The project generates 61,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 4,300 households.

The project got commissioned in December 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 20MW.

Contractors involved

Exyte Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Jinko Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 84,000 modules at the site.
