Description

The project was developed by Clean Energy Future, Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings and Siemens Financial Services. Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings, Siemens Financial Services, Sumitomo and Development Bank of Japan Inc. (New York Office) are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 58%, 27%, 10% and 5% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel.

The project got commissioned in October 2018.
