The project was developed by Buenavista Renewables and is currently owned by MPC Energy Solutions with a stake of 100%.
Los Santos Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 100 hectares.
The project generates 60.549GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,838 households, offsetting 16,509t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $40m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2016.
Contractors involved
Imasa Ingenieria y Proyectos was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Astronergy Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 51,200 modules at the site.
