The project is being developed by Alternergy Philippines Holding, Alternergy Sembrano Wind, Korea East-West Power and Vena Energy. Alternergy Philippines Holding, Alternergy Sembrano Wind, Others and Vena Energy are currently owning the project.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2013. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by June 2015.

China Ming Yang Wind Power Group is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Mabitac Wind Farm (Mabitac Wind Farm II) project. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Mabitac Wind Farm (Mabitac Wind Farm I) project.

Mabitac Wind Farm (Mabitac Wind Farm I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy G90-2.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 27 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Mabitac Wind Farm (Mabitac Wind Farm II) will be equipped with China Ming Yang Wind Power Group MySE 6.25-172 turbines. The phase consists of 15 turbines with 6.25MW nameplate capacity.

China Ming Yang Wind Power Group, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Vestas Wind Systems are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
