Description

The project is being developed by Cypress Creek Solutions, Dominion Energy, Sol Development, Sol Madison Solar and SolUnesco. The project is currently owned by Dominion Energy with a stake of 100%.

Madison Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 400 acres.

The project is expected to generate 4,372,381MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project is expected to offset 100,450t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The solar power project consists of 227,000 modules.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in June 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Northrop Grumman under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 62.5MW.
