Description
The project is being developed by Enersense Wind and Valorem. The project is currently owned by Valorem with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to generate 460,000MWh electricity to offset 34,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the project site are expected to be 148m high.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by January 2025.
Contractors involved
Nordex will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 27 units of N163/5.X turbines, each with 5.5MW nameplate capacity.
Nordex is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 35 years.
