The project is being developed and currently owned by GreenGo Energy Group and HOFOR. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

Mermaid M12 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 46.2 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 35,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 9,000 households. The project is expected to offset 20,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Chint Solar Japan and InTEC Energy Solutions are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Chint Solar Japan will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to provide 52,560 modules each with 545W of nameplate capacity.

Chint Solar Japan and InTEC Energy Solutions are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
