Description

The project was developed by BNB Renewable Energy Holdings and Sumitomo Corporation of America. Sumitomo Corporation of America, Duke Energy Renewables and Manulife Financial are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 26% and 24% respectively.

The project generates 800,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 120,000 households. The project cost is $345m.

The project has 87.4776m high towers.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Mars Chocolate North America under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 200.6MW.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 118 units of 1.7-100 turbines.
