Description
The project is being developed by Energiequelle and Otsotuuli. The project is currently owned by Energiequelle with a stake of 100%.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 76,500 households, to offset 228,610.554t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $173.46m.
The project will have 145m high towers.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 16 units of SG 6.6-170 turbines, each with 6.6MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 35 years.
